Endless Summer is a selection of photographs by John Sellekaers. John says that he's

...interested in the hidden, what's behind the curtain, what goes unnoticed in daily life but can be quietly spotlighted with a photograph. As in music, I believe in the beauty of the little details and their ability to convey emotions.

These images are part of a series shot in Florida last year. I've explored the backyard of a state only known -- at least in Europe and Canada -- as a haven for aging sun lovers. Far from the crowds, the endless theme parks, and the postcard spots, I wanted to gently scratch the varnish and reveal my imaginary Florida.

By showing us sides the Florida that lies behind the postcards and travel brochures, John's images gently uncover the mundane and sublime side of ordinary life in the Sunshine State.
